Chipola AFC Scholars
The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges recently awarded five scholarships to children of college employees. Scholarship recipients are pictured with their sponsors, from left: Steve Young and Sarah Young, and Thomas Schaefer II and Thomas Schaefer. Not pictured are: Chelsea Gardner and John Gardner, Lucinda Clark-Hussey and Amanda Clark, and Hayden white and Paige White. Since 1993, AFC has awarded over $175,000 to students through Chipola’s AFC Scholarship Endowment. Members raise funds through concession sales at college sports events.
