Â鶹ֱ²¥ Recognizes Sophomores During April 19 Doubleheader Sweep
Â鶹ֱ²¥ recognized its sophomore student-athletes on Sunday, April 19, 2026, during a pregame Sophomore Day ceremony held in conjunction with a doubleheader against the Thomas University Night Hawks JV team.
The ceremony honored second-year players for their contributions to the softball program, including their athletic performance, academic progress, and leadership. Family members, coaches, and supporters attended.
Following the ceremony, Chipola won both games of the doubleheader. The Indians defeated Thomas JV 18–2 in five innings in Game 1 and 13–6 in Game 2.
“Sophomore Day provides an opportunity to recognize the work and progress of these student-athletes,” said Kelly Brookins.
