Chipola Student Appointed to State Student Government Executive Board
Â鶹ֱ²¥ student Annabeth Bontrager has been appointed Secretary of the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA) Executive Board for the 2026–2027 academic year.
As the incoming president of Â鶹ֱ²¥'s Student Government Association (SGA), Bontrager will represent Region I students while serving on the statewide executive board. Her appointment also marks Chipola's return to the Florida College System Student Government Association after several years away from the organization it helped establish.
"Annabeth is an exceptional student leader who truly embodies what it means to serve others," said Kristi Hinson, Â鶹ֱ²¥ SGA sponsor. "We are incredibly proud of her and excited to see the impact she will make across the state."
Bontrager's appointment strengthens Â鶹ֱ²¥'s long-standing tradition of student leadership while ensuring the voices of Region I students are represented in statewide initiatives and discussions.
