October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Join the Chipola TRiO Society as we unite in the fight against breast cancer! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to increase awareness, educate individuals about prevention and detection, and support survivors and those currently battling the disease.
Since 1991, the pink ribbon has become a symbol of hope and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer, starting with its distribution to survivors at the Komen New York City Race for the Cure®. This year, TRiO Society members have adorned the center of Â鶹ֱ²¥â€™s campus with pink bows and ribbons to raise awareness for early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s continue to support the cause, raise awareness, and stand by those affected.
