Child Psychology Fall 2025 Book Publishing

Chipola students enrolled in DEP 2102 001 Child Psychology during Fall 2025 collaborated to produce "How We Feel," a children's book exploring psychological disorders in childhood. Their contributions feature vibrant, engaging games and narratives designed to educate and inspire young readers.

The following students developed content for this publication, Madison Baxley, Samantha Benton, Jasmine Bess, Mariam Coulibaly, Emma Griffin, Ami-Grace Hall, Chloe Harrison, Addison Hussey, Jaden McGhee, and Jilian Pedraja.

"As their instructor, I am immensely proud of their dedication and creativity. They thoughtfully crafted stories incorporating healthy coping strategies, while their games offer interactive elements that help redirect children's attention away from distressing symptoms associated with various disorders," says Ms. Linda Morales. "This marks the second publication from one of my classes, and I eagerly anticipate guiding this semester's students in creating a third book."

The students nor instructor receive any financial compensation from this project. The book exists solely as a meaningful keepsake for students and their families to cherish.
